Good to know
A few questions before you begin.
Will ordinary phone photos work?
Yes. Choose clear photos where the person’s face is easy to see. Three to six photos of each person gives us the best starting point. Several different angles helps - as well as favorite outfits.
What if it does not look like them?
You see two versions before paying and can try again during setup. You also review the finished book before approving it for print.
Do I need to write a story?
No. Start with finished words, a memory, or an idea. We help shape a draft that you can edit before the pages are illustrated.
Can I ask for changes?
Edit the words and scene plan before illustration. New books include two rounds of artwork corrections before print approval. Existing orders keep their purchased revision terms.
What if I change my mind?
You can get a full refund any time before the book goes to print.
How many people can be in the book?
Up to five people or pets are included in $139. Preview the first three before payment; the fourth and fifth follow payment.
What happens to our photos?
Photos are processed to make and check your book. Unpaid drafts become eligible for cleanup after seven days. Paid working files remain through fulfillment; see our privacy policy for the post-shipment schedule.
What if the printed book arrives damaged or misprinted?
Send us a photo within 14 days. We will reprint it free. If two reprints fail, we will give you a full refund.
